NOTE:These types of questions are not at all tough.You have to understand the logic and then it is very easy to fill the blanks. Some information is provided for getting to the answers.There will be blanks which have to be filled.
Examples of flow charts asked to be filled :

(2) There are red and black balls in a box. You select some balls from the blocks.If the ball chosen is red then you get one point. (3)Classify objects in class A, class B and scrap. for classfing you have to do different tests such as weight test, material test etc.
(4)There is production process in which action depends on temperature and pressure and we have some temperature and pressure controls.Draw a flowchart to complete the process.
(5)Find max. and min. of the 12 nos.in an array.Arrang the array in ascending order and find the maximum and
minimum value in the array
(6)Diffrent age group are given and also diffrent salary slabs are given. Depending on the salary group as well as his group you have to classify the group of people in particular class.

Group Discussion - Satyam

Group Discussion:

The topic for GD was ‘Privatization of Engineering Colleges’

The other topics were:
1) Tourism in India.
2) India’s performance in the recent Test match against
Australia.
3) Arranged Marriage Or Love Marriage.
In GD groups consisting of 8 people are formed.
The HR himself gave the topic to us. There was no time given after the topic was said. The time for the discussion was 5min.There was a panel of two for the GD.

In other groups the time for the discussion was 10 minutes. They were also given 2mins after the topic was given. Some groups could choose their topic.

Do not worry about the GD, it was the first time I attended a GD.I spoke only 3 to 4 sentences.
Do not remain silent, and when u speak it should be in relevant to the topic.
Do not try to stop someone when he/she is speaking.
Do not dominate, give a fair chance to others.
4 out of 8 people were selected in our batch.


Interview:

There was a panel of three people.2 technical and 1 HR.
Questions asked were:
I was asked in which areas I’m interested in. (like music, sports, writing etc.)
Why Satyam. (see their website before the test)
3) Project
Family Background.
Career Aspirations.

I was asked lot of questions regarding my project. So be thorough with your project and the language(s) in which it is done.

My interview lasted for 20-30 minutes.
Be cool and confident while answering. If u do not know something say it frankly.
Be careful while u answer, do not say something that u do not know.

Before the Interview, the HR Manager told us that they are only seeing whether u have the potential to work in a team or not.
